What does your business do?
At Entertaining Environments it is our mission to bring enjoyment and convenience to our client’s homes. We provide contemporary technology solutions that encompass six disciplines: Entertainment, Comfort, Communications, Lighting, Safety and Construction. Our primary industry is the ever-evolving consumer electronics industry with our primary focus on residential and commercial markets.
What’s one of your favorite electronics products?
Today’s market is filled with a variety of smart home solutions; however, we find that Control4 provides a simplistic and user-friendly platform to coordinate the technology in your home. One of the biggest strengths of Control4 is the ability to start off very small. To begin, you may choose to simply control the technology in a single room, and then add more Control4 devices as time passes and your needs evolve. Why do you think your customers like this product so much?
The vast majority of our customers are tired of using three, four or multiple remotes to control the various devices in their home. Control4 brings all your entertainment devices and services under one simple platform.
We consistently receive comments on how intuitive the user interface is to navigate.
Our customers also love the fact that they can stream high-resolution 24-bit 192kHz music from services such as TIDAL, as well as listen to Pandora, TuneIn and Deezer with no extra hardware required. Control4 also seamlessly integrates with AppleTV, Netflix and Roku, and is 4K ready!
Can you give us a brief history of your business and the growth it has experienced so far?
Our founder Rob Sanders has over 20+ years of experience within the consumer electronics industry. Initially importing and distributing passive loudspeakers and then moving onto the manufacture of custom multi-room audio products, it was from these beginnings Entertaining Environments was born and is now a leading industry provider of contemporary technology solutions. With an inherit understanding of the technological requirements of our clients we continue to grow and expand our client base, or as we like to refer to them our extended family.
How is Unleashed helping your business grow?
Unleashed is a vital cog in our management systems, it provides a seamless integration between our eCommerce and accounting systems. It provides us with dynamic inventory management, which is ultra-important for our custom installation and distribution business. We are able to see exactly what products we have in stock and what products we need to order.
Unleashed also provides a fast and efficient method of receipting purchases. In particular, the purchase order costings feature makes adding landed costs to goods a breeze.
Before Unleashed the integration between our accounting/inventory and eCommerce systems was extremely frustrating with manual synchronizations required at the end of each day for stock adjustments and sales. With Unleashed the integration is now seamless and dynamic creating a greater efficiency within our business.
